This Phase 1B study, sponsored by Mayo Clinic, evaluates the safety, optimal dosing, and preliminary effectiveness of SONALA-001 (a Protoporphyrin IX ROS activator small molecule) given with MR-guided focused ultrasound (MRgFUS) in patients with unresectable, progressive or recurrent glioblastoma. Patients receive SONALA-001 infusion followed by transcranial MRgFUS on day 1 of each 42‑day cycle to activate the drug, with imaging and diagnostic tests performed for ongoing evaluation.
