UCSF is launching a first-in-human trial evaluating autologous KIND T cells—engineered to express a TCR specific for the H3.3K27M mutation—following lymphodepletion with cyclophosphamide and fludarabine in HLA-A*0201-positive patients. This study aims to determine the safety, optimal dosing, and potential of this novel immunotherapy against an aggressive form of intracranial glioma.
