InduPro’s Phase 1/2 open-label, sequential-assignment study evaluates IDP-001 given by IV infusion in two parts: Part 1 dose escalation across advanced/metastatic solid tumors to define safety/tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and dose-limiting toxicities; then Part 2 indication selection (expansion) in a chosen tumor type to estimate preliminary antitumor activity (RECIST responses, durability). IDP-001 is described as a first-in-class proximity-based bispecific antibody-drug conjugate designed to co-target EGFR and CDCP1 (identified via InduPro’s membrane interactomics platform to exploit cell-surface proximity, not just co-expression) to drive more selective tumor cell killing. Eligible patients include advanced/metastatic squamous and non-squamous NSCLC and other squamous cell solid tumors (e.g., head and neck, esophageal, cervical, cutaneous). A key angle is whether proximity-guided dual targeting can widen the therapeutic window versus conventional single-antigen EGFR ADC approaches. In these cancers today, care is typically platinum-based chemotherapy plus immunotherapy in earlier lines (and targeted therapy when a driver is present), followed by later-line single-agent chemo and, in some settings, antibody-drug conjugates—so this explores a new ADC strategy for patients who have progressed or lack good options.
