New trial
Phase I SC-CAR.GPC3xIL15.21 pediatric/AYA CAR-T for GPC3+ non-CNS solid tumors (incl. HCC)
- Trial ID
- NCT07148050 on ClinicalTrials.gov
- Cancer type
- Solid Tumors and Multiple Tumor Type
- Stage of research
- First-in-human
- Location
- Seattle, WA
- Published in
- New in Oncology - Sept 12, 2025
Seattle Children’s runs a first-in-human, single-infusion CAR-T armed with IL-15/21 plus an inducible safety switch for GPC3-positive tumors. Pediatric/AYA liver and other GPC3+ cancers (neuroblastoma) have sparse targeted options; enhanced persistence signals from IL-15/21 could be decisive. Safety, feasibility, and early antitumor activity will steer expansion into specific histologies.
