Phase 2 Fruquintinib (VEGFR inhibitor) and Tislelizumab (PD-1 mAb) in MRD-Positive Colorectal Cancer

This Phase 2 trial, sponsored by M.D. Anderson, investigates whether fruquintinib—a VEGFR inhibitor small molecule—and tislelizumab, a PD-1–targeting monoclonal antibody, can reduce recurrence in stage II–IV colorectal cancer patients with ctDNA-positive minimal residual disease after adjuvant chemotherapy; outside trials, MRD+ patients are often observed—intervening here could pre-empt overt relapse.
