Phase I nivolumab/ipilimumab ± EXL01 live biotherapeutic in mRCC

City of Hope evaluates whether gut-microbiome modulation (EXL01 from Exeliom Biosciences) augments response to the established nivo/ipi doublet (BMS). Many patients fail to achieve deep or durable benefit on IO; shifting the intestinal immune tone may raise response quality without compounding irAEs. Safety, response, and correlative microbiome/immune profiling anchor the readout.
