Phase I/II Trial of AZD6750, CD8-guided IL-2 fusion protein, in advanced solid tumors
- Trial ID
- NCT07115043 on ClinicalTrials.gov
- Cancer type
- Pan Solid Tumor
- Stage of research
- First-in-human
- Location
- 6 Locations (US, Australia, and Japan)
- Published in
- New in Oncology - Aug 29, 2025
This trial evaluates the safety, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary efficacy of AZD6750 as a single agent or in combination with rilvegostomig—a Tigit and PD-1 bispecific mAb—in adult participants with select advanced or metastatic solid tumors including TNBC, melanoma, and NSCLC. Led by AstraZeneca, it represents a first-in-human investigation of a novel IL-2 engineered immune activator. Current immunotherapy SoC uses PD-1/PD-L1 ± CTLA-4; engineered IL-2 aims to expand effector CD8s with fewer high-dose-IL-2 toxicities and potentially deepen checkpoint responses.
