Phase 1/2 TER-2013 (undisclosed target) trial in AKT/PI3K/PTEN-altered solid tumors
- Trial ID
- NCT07109726 on ClinicalTrials.gov
- Cancer type
- Solid Tumors
- Stage of research
- Exploratory
- Location
- Carolina BioOncology Institute (Huntersville, NC)
- Published in
- New in Oncology - Sept 5, 2025
This open-label, multicenter study evaluates safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary anti-tumor activity of lysine covalently binding small molecule TER-2013 (that may attack TRIP13 and HSP90) alone or with fulvestrant (selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD) - primarily ER-α) in advanced solid tumors including ovarian, cervical, lung, head and neck, esophageal, breast, and endometrial cancers with AKT/PI3K/PTEN alterations, representing an early clinical investigation sponsored by Terremoto Biosciences Inc.; pathway drugs are SoC only in niches (e.g., alpelisib in HR+ PIK3CA-mut BC), so a new scaffold across alterations could broaden options
