In this open-label, randomized Phase II trial sponsored by Washington University School of Medicine, two dosing regimens of lenvatinib (a multikinase inhibitor) are compared to determine optimal dose delivery, tolerance, and efficacy in patients with radioactive iodine resistant differentiated thyroid cancer. Eligible patients include those with progressive or symptomatic disease in first- or second-line settings, with a crossover design enabling further assessment of outcomes. Therefore, while randomized, all patients will be treated with lenvatinib.
