This master protocol study, sponsored by AstraZeneca, evaluates novel biomarker-guided anticancer treatments in participants with advanced/recurrent ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. In Substudy 1, treatment-naive patients with BRCA1/2 mutations receive oral saruparib—a PARP1 inhibitor small molecule—to assess safety, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary efficacy in a first-in-human setting.
