This study evaluates if adding radiation therapy—which uses high energy x-rays to damage cancer cell DNA—to standard care reduces complications in solid tumor patients with asymptomatic high-risk bone metastases. Participants receive either usual systemic and bone-targeted treatments or these plus conventional RT/SBRT over up to five days, with outcomes assessed by NRG Oncology to determine whether a preventative radiation approach can lower fracture, compression, or pain risks.
