This Phase III randomized trial by NRG Oncology compares proton craniospinal irradiation with standard involved-field radiotherapy for patients with leptomeningeal metastasis from breast or non-small cell lung cancer. The study aims to determine if the precise proton delivery can better delay neurologic decline in eligible patients with no prior radiation to the spinal cord.
