Risk-Adapted Treatment Trial for Unilateral Favorable Histology Wilms Tumors

The Children's Oncology Group is conducting a phase III trial that tailors treatment intensity for pediatric unilateral FHWT based on tumor histology, biology, and response to therapy. This comprehensive study evaluates multiple regimens—ranging from standard EE-4A to more intensive combinations (including DD-4A, VIVA, UH-3, and others) across stages I–IV—to reduce relapse risk while optimizing long-term outcomes.
