Phase I/II Trial of Bicalutamide, an Androgen Receptor Inhibitor in Renal Cancer

This open-label study evaluates the safety and efficacy of bicalutamide plus sunitinib administered in cycles among advanced renal cell carcinoma patients with progression after prior receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy. Conducted by the State University of New York at Buffalo, the trial examines combination therapy in a resistant patient population using defined dosing regimens.
