In this international phase Ib/II study, EMB-01 monotherapy at 1600 mg showed encouraging results in 48 metastatic colorectal cancer patients—particularly in left-sided, RAS/RAF wild-type mCRC—with a 24.1% partial response rate and an 86.2% disease control rate, even among those with prior anti-EGFR therapy, while maintaining an acceptable safety profile.
The data suggest that EMB-01 could offer a novel, dual-targeted treatment strategy to overcome resistance and improve outcomes in heavily pretreated mCRC patients.
