In this phase II study targeting patients over 60 or those unfit for standard chemotherapy, the combination of brentuximab vedotin (BV) and nivolumab demonstrated promising long-term outcomes. With a median follow-up of nearly 5 years, the median overall survival has not yet been reached, and about 41% of patients remain progression-free.
These results confirm that a chemo-free BV-nivolumab regimen can achieve durable disease control and excellent survival in older HL patients, paving the way for further optimization and integration of novel agents for this challenging population.
