Trop-2 Expression Uncoupled from Efficacy in SG + Pembrolizumab ± Carboplatin for mNSCLC

In EVOKE-02, metastatic NSCLC patients without actionable genomic alterations exhibited high Trop-2 levels, yet objective response rates and progression-free survival were similar regardless of whether tumor Trop-2 H-scores were above or below the median, across both squamous and non-squamous and different PD-L1 subgroups.
These findings suggest that the efficacy of sacituzumab govitecan combined with pembrolizumab (with or without carboplatin) in first-line mNSCLC is independent of Trop-2 expression, underscoring that Trop-2 may not serve as a predictive biomarker in this therapeutic setting.
