University of Washington is testing pacritinib (a JAK2/FLT3 inhibitor) layered onto standard hypomethylating agents (azacitidine or decitabine/cedazuridine) to raise transplant eligibility in accelerated/blast-phase MPN (≥5% blasts). Many high-risk patients rely on HMA cytoreduction yet still struggle to reach allo-HCT; pacritinib could deepen cytoreduction without the myelosuppression that derails transplant plans. Key readouts include response quality and the proportion proceeding to transplant, alongside cytopenia and GI safety.
