Phase II randomized: durvalumab + monalizumab (NKG2A) vs durva + oleclumab (CD73) → RT in PD-L1-high, unresectable stage III

Trial ID
NCT07146230 on ClinicalTrials.gov
Cancer type
Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)
Stage of research
Exploratory
Location
Bronx, NY
Published in

Montefiore compares two chemo-free “priming” pairs (AstraZeneca and Innate Pharma) prior to risk-adapted radiotherapy in treatment-naïve stage III (PD-L1 ≥50%). PACIFIC established durvalumab after chemoradiation; shifting immune activation before RT could enhance local-regional control and systemic surveillance. Safety, PFS/OS, and failure patterns (in-/out-of-field) will determine if pre-RT IO becomes a new default.
