Phase Ib Elekta UNITY MR-Linac salvage SBRT + short ADT after prior EBRT

NYU Langone trials MR-guided SBRT with online adaptive replanning plus 4–6 months of ADT in biopsy-proven local recurrence post-EBRT. Salvage options (surgery/cryo/HDR/SBRT) can control disease but GU toxicity is a key limiter; Elekta’s MR-Linac aims to tighten margins in real time (prostate motion, OAR sparing) to preserve urinary/sexual function. Endpoints include grade ≥2 GU/GI toxicity and biochemical control, positioning this beside or ahead of conventional salvage techniques.
