This single-arm Phase 1b trial by the Medical College of Wisconsin evaluates the safety and feasibility of using talquetamab—a bispecific antibody targeting GPRC5D and CD3—as bridging therapy during CAR T-cell manufacturing, followed by cilta-cel infusion, a BCMA-targeted CAR T-cell treatment, in patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma after at least two prior treatment lines; bridging is often steroids/chemo, and a potent bispecific may better maintain control and debulk pre-CAR-T.
