This study is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and optimal dosing of selvigaltin, a galectin-3 blocker, when combined with daratumumab-hyaluronidase, carfilzomib, and dexamethasone in patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. Conducted by Roswell Park Cancer Institute, this first-in-human investigation assesses whether targeting galectin-3 with selvigaltin can enhance treatment outcomes by reducing inflammation and tissue scarring.
