This Phase II trial at University of Washington evaluates the immunogenicity of STEMVAC, a DNA vaccine engineered to stimulate Th1 responses against MDM2, YB1, SOX2, CDH3, and CD105 expressed by breast cancer stem cells, when combined with chemotherapies (e.g., paclitaxel, a tubulin inhibitor) and GM-CSF support. Eligible patients have PD-L1 negative metastatic triple-negative breast cancer receiving 1st- or 2nd-line treatment. We think this would be most interesting for patients who will likely have no evidence of disease.
