This Phase II trial at M.D. Anderson evaluates shortened adjuvant regional nodal irradiation schedules using hypofractionated external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) via different dose regimens, including simultaneous integrated boost options, in patients with invasive breast cancer following lumpectomy or mastectomy. The multi-cohort study stratifies high-risk and low-risk groups to identify optimal radiation schedules.
