This study investigates whether direct tumor injections of RP2, an HSV-1 oncolytic virus, combined with standard FLOT chemotherapy can improve preoperative tumor eradication in patients with resectable stage II-III gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma. The trial, led by Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine, also evaluates additional agents that target DNA synthesis, cell division, and neutropenia management.
