This randomized study assesses whether adding surgery, locoregional radiation therapy, and SBRT to standard systemic treatment (trastuzumab, a HER2-directed antibody; pertuzumab, another HER2 inhibitor; and paclitaxel, a microtubule inhibitor) improves outcomes in patients with de novo oligometastatic, resectable HER2+ breast cancer. The study evaluates safety and efficacy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
