This open-label study at MD Anderson Cancer Center evaluates oral cladribine (a DNA synthesis inhibitor) in combination with low dose cytarabine (a DNA synthesis inhibitor) and venetoclax (a BCL-2 inhibitor) to determine the highest tolerable dose and assess disease control in various acute myeloid leukemia populations, including relapsed/refractory and treatment-sensitive AML. The dose-ranging design explores a novel combination regimen with potential to refine AML treatment strategies.
