This Phase II study evaluates neoadjuvant, concurrent, and adjuvant administration of atezolizumab (a PD-L1 targeted monoclonal antibody) and doxorubicin (a micelle-formulated DNA synthesis inhibitor) combined with radiation and surgery for high-risk resectable extremity and trunk soft tissue sarcoma. Eligible patients have Grade 2-3 tumors, and M.D. Anderson leads the trial to assess if the integrated approach prolongs relapse-free survival while ensuring safety.
