Phase 1 Study of Suizenji Ultrasound-Guided HIFU Ablation for Unresectable Pancreatic Cancer
- Trial ID
- NCT07033689 on ClinicalTrials.gov
- Cancer type
- Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC)
- Stage of research
- Exploratory

This open-label, non-randomized single-center study sponsored by SONIRE Therapeutics Inc. is evaluating the feasibility, safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of Suizenji, an ultrasound-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound device that thermally ablates pancreatic tumor tissue. The protocol also explores combination treatment with liposomal irinotecan (a topoisomerase I inhibitor) and mFOLFOX-6 in patients with unresectable pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
