Phase 1 RPCAR01 CAR T Cells Targeting GPC3 in Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma

This phase 1 trial evaluates RPCAR01 CAR T cell monotherapy combined with lymphodepleting chemotherapy in patients with advanced or metastatic GPC3-positive hepatocellular carcinoma. The first-in-human study uses engineered T cells to target the GPC3 protein, potentially enhancing immune recognition of tumor cells. Roswell Park Cancer Institute sponsors the trial conducted in Buffalo.
