This Phase 2 study evaluates whether a patient-specific TAA mRNA vaccine (V940) given by IM injection alongside IV pembrolizumab (a PD-1 inhibitor) can prolong progression-free survival compared to placebo plus pembrolizumab in patients with unresectable, advanced melanoma. Sponsored by Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC, the randomized, double-blind trial aims to advance translational insights in immuno-oncology.
