Phase 1/2 ABBV-453 (BCL-2 inhibitor) ± daratumumab/dexamethasone (± pomalidomide) in R/R MM
- Trial ID
- NCT06953960 on ClinicalTrials.gov
- Cancer type
- Multiple Myeloma
- Stage of research
- First-in-human

AbbVie tests ABBV-453 across dose-escalation/expansion, alone and on CD38/IMiD backbones (with a Japanese monotherapy cohort). Late-line MM cycles through IMiDs/PIs/anti-CD38, with venetoclax often used off-label in t(11;14); an updated BCL-2 scaffold could offer similar precision with a distinct safety/PK profile. Primary safety/MTD/RP2D with secondary ORR/DOR will flag whether specific molecular subsets merit a registrational path.
