Henry Ford Health System is evaluating whether a single oral dose of 5-ALA given 2–4 hours preoperatively improves the visibility of upper tract urothelial tumors via blue light fluorescence during ureteroscopic resection. The trial explores enhanced intraoperative tumor detection and resection outcomes in patients with resectable urological cancers.
