Ohio State University is investigating whether ziftomenib, a menin-MLL inhibitor taken daily in 28-day cycles, can effectively treat patients with NPM1-mutated or KMT2A-rearranged AML who are not eligible for intensive standard therapy. The study also incorporates supportive cytoreduction methods and extensive monitoring (including bone marrow biopsies and cardiac imaging) to assess treatment efficacy and safety.
