Phase 2 Quizartinib FLT3 Inhibitor Trial in AML Maintenance

This Phase 2, multi-center, randomized, open-label trial by Daiichi Sankyo evaluates two dose levels of quizartinib, a small molecule FLT3 inhibitor, as maintenance therapy post induction and consolidation in adult patients with newly diagnosed FLT3-ITD positive AML in first complete remission who have not had a stem cell transplant. The trial compares higher and lower doses to determine the optimal maintenance strategy.
