This randomized Phase III trial by the National Cancer Institute evaluates whether adding AZD6738, an ATR inhibitor that blocks DNA damage repair, to standard durvalumab improves time without recurrence in patients with Stage II-IIIB non‑small cell lung cancer following chemotherapy and surgery. Participants are randomized to receive durvalumab alone or in combination with AZD6738 (administered orally and intravenously) over 12 cycles of 28 days, with CT imaging and biomarker assessments monitoring treatment effect.
