Cytophone Liquid Biopsy Aims for Early Detection of Metastatic Melanoma
- Trial ID
- NCT06488365 on ClinicalTrials.gov
- Cancer type
- Melanoma
- Published in
- New in Oncology - May 7, 2025
Cytoastra’s trial in Madison is evaluating the Cytophone—a noninvasive photoacoustic flow cytometry tool that detects and counts circulating melanoma cells—to provide an early risk assessment of metastasis. This study will correlate CTC counts with melanoma recurrence and treatment efficacy, potentially enabling earlier intervention than current methods.
